It has been passed on to all of us to always ‘be yourself’ but what if it isn´t a choice? What if our personalities actually are shaped by society? To have a free mind is a thing of circumstance. Although doesn´t that mean we are not allowed to be ourselves in certain situations. What if the self is moulded by others since young? In a judgment-free environment would you recognize yourself in the mirror?

Let´s think about our personalities

How we were lead when young

Growing up we are told how to be civilized humans. How to sit, talk and represent our families. We grow to the words that a creative has the mind for poverty. Pulled to the path of a serious life. During that time, we may not talk too loud or create great motion with our minds. Honesty is for those who have no control. Lies are ok if not to the person that taught them to us. We may love ourselves but only if we are exactly the picture of a lovable person. Told to be ourselves we must never forget to be just the appropriate amount yet that would be outrageously childish. To talk with speed is interesting but with a certain limit.

Let’s get back to the flow of thought. To build our personalities we must all think in the same certain way. There are the minds of great and the little ones so we must always have that thought in ours. Search to be great which means exactly the same as others. If there is something different in us, then we must bury it. Have you ever been ourselves? Can we call our personalities ours?

Do we all have work personalities?

A person of circumstance lies to circumstance itself. During work, we must control certain parts of our eccentric minds, especially with a job that have contact with other people. To what point should we let work transform us into a serious prototype? There are people that forget to take the mask after work and end up becoming a strict professional in their personal life.

Are masks escapes or realities?

I have been taught by the best and learnt from the worst. To be me is the way but to be too much is wrong. I have created the masks for the occasions but asked myself: when can I be myself?

Are our personalities real?

Are you?
